betch MY mechanic can beat that price, if you happen to stay anywhere between the NY - DC corridor, PM rayveedub (see: tha guy bustin my chops, above). Costs depend on how much collateral damage (mine hadda LOT, and a lot of l'il things that needed doin, too) you let accumulate before getting teh service done.

I am booked in to have it done on the 31st at the Audi dealer. "Around $2000" was what they said. The car is still on CPO. Is that worth having it done at the dealer or should I be calling around to other shops?
Last time I drove from NY was in a UHaul, I'd love to do it in the A8, but I think I'll stay local for now.
