Question Malfunctioning Lock and Unlock

Hallo Everybody,
I have a question;
You know, when you lock and unlock the car with the remote fob usually the fog lights and the rear lights stay on for a while and when you lock the car it makes a peep and then the fog lights stay on (for as long as it has been set to stay on in car setting, up to a minute), this function was off an on working in the last few days, now it is not working at all. Of note that I reset the car computer for; car, system, exterior lights, coming home and going away lights, all is on and is set for 30 seconds, the tail lights and the front fog lights all work properly otherwise but the above function when you lock and unlock the car is malfunctioning.
Did anybody have this problem before? How can it be fixed?

Thank you,
A.

Scanning using VCDS (VAG-COM) will tell you what is wrong.
