my mmi **** stopped working due to spill the push feature works but the left to right scrolling stop working. what can i do to fix this.

Hi Tenorjvelez, my MMI unit works fine, but the buttons are scuffed badly and look terrible. The surrounding casing for MMI (part number 4f1919611n) looks good.
I just got a used replacement unit that has great looking buttons but the surrounding casing is damaged.

My idea is to swap the buttons from the new unit to my existing MMI unit, and then reinstall the unit. From your experience, can this be done?
