Default No sound from speakers. Please help!

Hi guys. My nav, radio and cd player appear to be running fine on the MMI. But there is no sound from any of the speakers. I have taken the amp out but there is no visible damage to it. Is there a way to test it to see if the amp is the issue? I would hate to buy the amp and find out that wasnt the problem. Also, there is no sound when I press the voice command button either. But the parking sensor beeps work fine. Appreciate the help! It is a 2004 A8L with Bose system.

Parktronic has a separate set of beepers.

What does an Auto-Scan say ?
It is possible there is a break in the MOST ring somewhere too, but a scan is the best place to start.

Thanks Jake. I got a used amp and swapped it out but no change. I will return the amp. I have a scan scheduled for next saturday so lets see what that says. It will cost me 95 bucks just for the scan. I will keep you updated.

BigPea. The first thing you need to do is get a vagcom scanner. I got a imitation one from eBay for 30 bucks and it worked fine. That will scan each module and let you know if there are any issues. Also, get a fiber optic loop. Then unplug one device in the series at a time and use the loop to complete the circuit. That will allow you to find the culprit module. Be sure to do the module and BUS scan using vagcom and post the results here. We can then try to help. I fixed mine this way. It was a bad amp and I had to get an amp with the exact same sw and part number. Good luck buddy

Hey man, thanks for the response. I talked to a buddy who works at an Audi dealership here in SoCal. He said to bring it in tomorrow and he'll see if he can get someone to hook it up and get me the results.

I'll post here when I have them and keep ya updated.
