About to buy my 1st Audi need some advice
Hi everyone I'm looking at buying a 2009 q7 Quattro it has 74k miles , 1 owner that has taken very good care of it . I'm a little nervous about it because this brand seems to have a really bad reputation for electrical issues , bad breaks and crappy tires equalling expensive up keep .
I don't know much about them other than I love the way they look and I need the space .
I am wondering if we do run into issues can my husband fix this stuff ( he's amazing with YouTube and our garage full of tools it has saved us $1000's )
We plan to do the oil changes , breaks etc vs taking it to the nearest Audi dealership which is several hours away .
I had a 2000 Jetta , it ran great . I had to replace the breaks a bit more often due to living in the mountains and the break pads are softer than domestic cars . I also had to check the oil because it would burn oil faster than other vehicles I've had . So really if that's the kind of stuff to watch out for I'm good !
Oh and we live down a long bumpy dirt road will it stand up to the light off road ? ( I drive about 10 mph down the road )
Thanks for any info ( or encouraging words lol)
