I've only had my 2007 Q7 for a few months and now that I can drive with the windows at least cracked I've noticed strange sounds. The front end seems to clunk and jump like an old fashioned 4x4 would have when over-turned. I have no idea if this is normal or not? If not, any ideas what it could be?

 

I have a 2008 Q7 3.6 and it does the same thing. No other problems at all, so I assume it is a benign byproduct of the 4x4/AWD system. Painful to experience, though

 

Yeah, that's what the dealership said. Surprised that is the case from a Premium vehicle. Oh well, thanks for the input.
