§hit! Need tech help.
well don't I feel like a jackass.
Moral of the story is don't rule anything out until you've confirmed its not the problem.
I just drove an hr and fifteen minutes and spent $97 to have my suspension looked over, and the loose wheel bolts on the pass side tightened.
The noise sounded like it was coming from the drivers side, and the first thing I did was check that the wheel was tight on that side, didn't bother with the rest, since I had checked them a little over a week prior to the noise starting.
I had forgotten that a garage had attempted a wheel balance on the car, but stopped since they didn't have any tape weights. I bet that pass side was where they started, and I didn't remember to re-torque the bolts after I got the car back from them, since they didn't actually finish the balance.
