Alignment Kit Question?
I am planning on purchasing the following alignment kit form ecs tuning(ES #1252) to correct the excessive negative camber on the rear wheels of my 02 225. The bushings look as if they can be installed without a bushing press (which means I can do it at my house). I wa wondering if anyone has installed one and if this in indeed true. Thanks in advance.

i personally havent installed these myself yet which i need to because i have negative chamber like crazy. But it seems just looking at the kit it would be a simple swap and you wouldnt need a bushing press. I bought one last year when i swapped all the bushings on my m3 only cost me 100 bucks at harbor freight. Best tool in the garage.
I still have my stock control arms, but replaced the bushings with eccentric bushings. If you needed to remove the stock rubber bushing from the stock control arm, you'd need some way to press it out. Otherwise, I can't foresee any need for a press to upgrade your control arms (aftermarket bushings don't usually need more than a bench vise, if even that).
Incidentally, if you DO need a tool to press out stock control arm bushings, I happen to have something, just let me know.
