Question Alternator or battery...just wont start

Ok, So i have read most post dealing with battery dying and alternators going bad...
But here is my situation i live in Cancun, Mex so there is no Autozone i can go test out my car, only the audi dealer. Luckly i have a deal worked out with one of the dealer mechanics where he does all the work at his house under the table.

I had battery problem where my car wouldn't start so i kept jumping it here and there but it gets annoying after a while. I whent to costco and had the battery replaced and everything worked fine for a couple of weeks... until the dreaded 30:00 Hr marker. Well it died just like one of those post said...it was like clockwork. Im guessing it is the alternator now.
I have a 2002 audi tt quattro convertible, Does anyone know what the part# for the alternator is and if so anyone know where to get GOOD deals on alternator for my car? (i only know ECS)

Those junk yards well ship to you. Its really easy, just find the one you want and call them. Takes like 3 minutes and its by far the lowest price. I have used them a bunch of times.
