Default Audi TT mk1... Is it big enough for tall people?

Hi everyone,

So... I want a more sporty car than the one i have now (a boring renault clio), one of the cars i have most interest for, is the mk1 audi TT.
I have one very big fear... That it ends up being too small for me.
I am 6'7" (2.03m) and i mostly have long legs.
Is there enough head and kneeroom so that i can drive around comfotably? Or is test driving the best option?

Hello,

I myself am not tall, just average, but have owned several MK1 and several MK2 roadsters and have 2 very tall friends. 6"4" and 6'5"... and both have commented on how they can't believe how much headroom is in the MK1 series. The top is extremely bulbous. It is not that way in the coupe or in the MK2... but obviously you want to test drive yourself. Ed

I think you will find legroom to be a bit short. I am 1.85m long legged frame and I think my roadster has just enough legroom. Ample headroom though.
