i show that audi uses padig for this car, textar is also licensed to sell oem pads for the tt. the problem i had was with a customer who couldnt get equal friction from the pads, under heavy braking the car would veer sideways. it wasnt a fluid issue as we thought it was the pads, the master cylinder, distributor, and calipers were checked. one pad on one side was completely glazed and the other was fine. the problem was definately confirmed when we switched to oem pagids. having no dust from a performance non ceramic brake isnt a good thing. i will admit that the pad problem were probably related to abuse but thats what my customers do to there cars. so that is why i cant sell and wont sell these pads even though my distrubutors sell them and i can get them cheaper than say akebono's or pbr's. never go cheap on brakes, take that to the grave. oh btw this customer was also running new x drilled zimmerman rotors. but im not gonna totally knock the product there has been a good experiences.

So we are in the neighborhood of $300 for cross-drilled rotors and PBR's front and back correct? I might be in touch after the holidays as well.

Definately interested in a group buy of some sort. Mechanic says I should replace my rears in a few thousand. Christmas is here, and I might as well spend some extra money and upgrade all pads and rotors anyway. If I'm going to spend any money, I'm going to spend it right!

I would also be interested in picking up some pads and possibly rotors from you. That sounds like a heck of a deal. I'm not sure whether the car has the wear sensors or not, I would assume so, but I'll check this weekend.
