I have the APR 93 octane software and tomorrow or saturday I will be putting my forge FMIC on YAY. Once I do get my boost controller what would be the highest you think I should go?

andrei,

almost all the tuning companies offer a 91, 93, or 100 octane program (also known as software or "chip"). many states offer 93 Octane gas at every pump. some states do not. It sounds like unfortunately your state uses 91 Octane as the super unleaded.

^ unfortunately california is one of those states. . though there are rare occurrences where a gas station will have 100 octane... for around $5.00 - $6.00 a gallon

Hey,
--Found some Zener diodes that run 4.43, 4.3, and 4.5. Are those close enough to what you're looking for (CincyTT)? If you could make that work... then here's a website:

http://www.mouser.com/search/refine....t=zener+diodes

I'm stoked to find out if it will work... [sm=happy046.gif]

That should work. Some on just need to do the math (im to lazy) to see what is closest to 14psi

11psi = 4.3v
17psi = 4.7w

That website makes it look like you have to buy in the 1000's to get them
