you only need the red and black lines and can trim the orange one off. THere is a place for a nice ground just behind the steering columb and then just tie the red line into a 12v source when the car is on or the lights if you dont need constant lighton the gauge.

also you better post pics so i can see how that gauge looks

Easy pos. connection is a blade tap off a fuse in your fuse box. Ground can be the tinted bolt to the frame under the fuse box cover.

When you have the dash apart look at the snap connector that goes to the area where your light and dimmer switch is, there are 2 connections. It is the long connector mounted vertical on the right when looking down from the drivers seat. If you tap into the light blue wire there, the gauge will only light up when the lights are turned on plus you will have dimmer control over the gauge. I believe it is the first lead on the connector....the last lead is a light green colored wire with a few other colors in the middle.

For the ground there is a grounding post beneath the steering column......you can't miss it. It is the one with all the brown wires (ground) soldered to it. Remove the capped nut, wrap your grounding wire around thepost and tighten the nut back down.Don't be alarmed the support likes to bend when removing the nut.
