Just curious if any of you have had this problem........all 3 brake lightsstay on even after car is turned off and key is out of ignition and e brake is taken off..... took out the fuse to save battery....what would cuase this..... bad break sensor??

Does the lower dash..... plastic piece that covers pedals come off alone...or do you have to take the whole dash off from fuse box down???? I saw there were 2 screws on the lower portion but when i took them out...the plastic panel covering the pedals didnt budge.

 

have to take the 3 or 4 out of the side too...

 

failed break peddle switch or it come loose

 

only one thing can explain it, HAUNTED!

Yeah took the lower dash apart and pulled the switch out...looks like that may be the issue...i think its broke internally...just plastic.... called everyonee autozone pepboyzadvanced bennit ect no one carries it...online i can get it for $$10.19...ill have to see how much it is from audi tomarrow...since for some odd reason the dealership closes at 8:00 when everyone else closes at 9-10

 

I vote demonds.

 

Installed new brake light switch and everything looks good.......had a few problems getting that fkn dash backtogether cuase everythings packed in so tight.
