Default Brake pedal vibration in hot weather

I get random brake pedal vibration when stopped in hot weather. I can be driving for a while and then come to a light and at the stop my brake pedal vibrates/hums pretty loudly. It doesn't pulse, but vibrates like a vibrator. It comes and goes, and only happens when the ambient temp is above 85 F.

Anybody have this happen? It doesn't happen in the winter (cold/cool) and it doesn't happen while driving; only at a stop. Of course, the dealer never heard of it.

vibrates like, ABS vibrate?

I've never heard of any vibrations other than the ABS, which you're probably not getting, unless by 'stopping at a light' you mean 'wickid awesome front wheel brakestands.' : )

No, not like ABS braking. This is different and weirder. Like an electric vibrator.

this is happening to me right now. just started.

I think its something to do with the a/c compressor.

Hallelujah! Another person! Maybe we can figure this out.

I thought it might be the a/c compressor, too. But I tried hitting the “econ†button and it continued to happen. I also thought it may be the electric coolant pump that runs when you turn the engine off to continue cooling the turbo, but am not sure because I don’t know how that works.

Just throwing this out there but I think that the cooling fans could be put into consideration.
I can feel when the fans kick on while stopped at idle.
I was worried when I first noticed this because I just had my head rebuilt.
It would start right as the fans started so I just figured that was the problem.

I also thought about this because it started happening after I swapped in a new fan control module. It my case I thought the a/c compressor and possibly the fcm trying to jump start my dead fan.

i normally feel vibration thru my steering wheel more than my pedal when the fans or AC are on and I'm at idle, but it sounds like the most likely culprit.

That's weird guys, keep us updated if you figure anything out.
