Default Coolant Warning

Sometimes when i turn the car on and its really cold it will give me a flashing coolant warning. I turn it off and back on , and the warning disappears. Anyone else have this problem?

Yup, the sensors in the expansion tank are likely corroded. You can tape a piece of emory cloth on a screwdriver and try to clean them by opening the tank, then fill the tank up to the full cold level with distilled water.

Yes, it should be. I don't think it is considered a "Wear" part.

It depends upon how "mod-friendly" your dealer is. If you go with a Forge 007 DV, I don't think they will mind much since it works much like the stock DV other than it is spring based. I kept my stock air box for when I needed to take it to the dealer or in for Smog Testing.

It only takes about 15 minutes to swap it in and out.
