I have a torn cv boot on the passenger side. Is this a hard item to replace? I remember thaht other people havedone it.
How difficult is the frontsubframe to remove?

It's quite easy I've had one before & done it in somewhat of an hour. I also used a lift.

Hmm, I don't have a lift but I can get the car up pretty high. Was there a guide you used Wintermute?
