How much are those bad boys and where is the best place to get them? Thanks.
the turbo spools faster because by freeing it up w/ larger pipe diameter you are increasing flow causing the turbo to spool more freely and faster...

i also have the street series and ALSO have a cel. I have mine because i installed the last piece (part w/ the cat) backwards *embarrassed* lol! I havent had a chance to flip it around yet though. I would say check your code to see if it is the catalytic efficiency below threshold one.... Clear it and if it comes back THEN get the spacer.

the plug defoulers are pretty cheap... prob in the $10 range.

One other thing: I'm noticing that I'm getting a "clunking" sound when I suddenly apply power. I don't get the usual rattle associated with the 42 DD dp, but the clunk comes once torque is applied quickly to the engine. Obviously, some part of the dp is hitting something, but I don't know what. Any idea what might be going on?

Are you saying replace the entire dogbone mount or just the stock bushings with stiffer ones?

I assumed you meant the bushings, so I ordered some from ECS tuning (the three piece kit). Any good guides on how to get these things on, or would I be an idiot to mess it up?

Yes just the bushings. And the install is about 100x easier than the down pipe so if you did that your good to go. Take off the under engine cover, 4 bolts holding it on (stretch bolts, should be getting new ones from ecs), unbolt the mount holding the bushings in. Replace the bushing, most people only do the 2 in the back, not the round one. And reassemble.

^yeah, do the dog bone and only do the 2 bushings not the 3rd(side mount). took me longer to get the car on a lift(cuz its low)than it did to swap out the bushings.

sorry yes i meant the dogbone bushings... the install is really easy. I think i had my mount out and reinstalled w/ new bushings in about 15 minutes.

everyone says to get new bolts. I personally didnt, but it is "recommended."
