hey thanks for the reminder i totally forgot about ceramic coating on the mani. [:-]

gonna look around here for a fairly priced palce that will do the coating.

does any1 know if it is a DYI job ? ike a spray on substance or does it have to be heat treated (im thinking along lines of powder coating)

FYI, maybe im reading it wrong but i think there is a typo on the 1.8t sticky you put up. in the aeb head requries and aeb head to work or something like that... i think you mean in order to run aeb head you also need aeb intake?

i got access to an oven that cooks powdercoating. if you get a chance find out the temps required for it.

the coating is off the shelf stuff?

ps. noticed the change, plus the additions. what else you going to put up on there?

Or you can be like some and heat wrap the dp and it should keep the heat in all the way through the exhaust. Plus you can keep some of the heat out of the engine bay.
gee, you mean it doesn't make any sense to wrap beyond the cat, especially considering that a cat makes more heat than the engine does, and therefore is well of on its own?

Guess I need to start paying more attention, these sarcasm classes aren't paying off as well as I had hoped...
