Want to replace the OEM air filter with a K&N, but without changing the OEM engine cover, on a 2008 TT 2.0. Plan is to remove old filter and block/close up its position. Then add a K&N cone filter on the forward right side of the engine cover, and remove the black plastic intake from the front bumper wall to the engine cover intake. Is this workable, any ideas?
