The name says it all! I'm planning on getting a gt28 turbo but I need to change out the rods and get a better flowing manifold. What is a good brand and where do I find them

You need some IE 144/19mm rods. You can get them from IE directly or from qedpower.com. Not sure what type of manifold you want, intake or exhaust

I PM'd you about building up my engine about a month ago. Just don't know where to fine the parts

 

Yes, you need a full exhaust, main and rod bearings, gaskets, along with new piston rings. You can get all of this from qedpower.com. Wouldnt worry to much about an intake manifold right away, get it built and running first and if you need more power, then you can get a new IM.

 

You'll need a new exhaust mani for the turbo, and I also noticed that you have an auto. The Tiptronic is not very strong (so I've heard), so do more research before you buy parts
