Fooling an 02 SEnsor?
Hi,
I have an 01 Audi TT quattro and I keep getting a CEL, of course the possibilities are the MAF, 02 sensor etc. I was wondering if there is a way to trick the 02 sensor without having to by a new one? Its saying the system is too lean. Im assuming in the secondary one next to the cat? I have the 42 dd 3" dp and the apr chip 93 octane(just throwing that out there) Hope someone can help, it not ill just have to buy a new sensor

which bank, 1 or 2? Bank 1 is a precat o2 and is either a bad o2, maf, vac leak, or boost leak. Bank 2 would be post o2 but would throw a cat below threshold code. It would be too rich if the cat is gone or flows to much
Its bank one then....like i said ive replaced the MAF twice, boost leak i dont know where that would be, and as far as the vac leak everything checked out ok. Is the precat 02 underneath the car on the exhaust?
