Default fuel injector power

I have been doing some research on the net about fuel injectors and have come up with some interesting info. Never having know much about them, other than they supply the fuel, I have come to find out that they can really add to your HP. First thing I found out, and very important, is that for every 100cc of fuel you add you can gain 75 crank HP. The second thing I found out, which I probably should have already known, is that with increased boost you need to increase the fuel injected and maybe even the fuel pressure. Someone please let me know if Im wrong cuz Im just learning this stuff. I also learned that fuel injectors work on about 45 PSI and if you increase your boost the fuel PSI needs to increase with it to keep the injectors working at 45 PSI over the boost level, hence the need for more fuel pressure, right???

Well I had my GT2X installed and it showed some increase in power but I was still lacking cuz I didnt have the bigger injectors in. I have them now and will have them installed over the weekend. Now the Audi TT 180 uses 317cc fuel injectors from what I could find out, and the new turbo tuning requires 440cc injectors, an increase of 123cc which means if everything I read is right I will gain about 90 crank HP or about 70 whp (only because the new turbo and tuning sets this up). That would put me at 255 whp.

Does this sound right to you guys who know a whole lot more about this than me?

If so I was wondering, for us 180 TT (and other) guys that get their car chipped, if the chip raises the boost level couldnt we put like 380cc injectors in too and gain more HP. 63cc could mean about 50 to 60 crank HP if all this is true. Thats a pretty cheap way for more HP.

Again this is just what I have read and wont find out till I get my car back with the new injectors and a dyno done but Im hoping its right. So I would like to hear what others think about this.

Thanks

Default RE: fuel injector power

well chipping is the lazy way to be honest all your doing is programming the system to think its better and it works to a point, next we look at the real pointers like the exhaust/catalyst/porting/pistons/crank/drive axles/fuel pump/filter the list is endless and very costing
