Default giac info

does anyone know what boost the giac software for the tt180hp requests on the street file? I have heard 17 many times. also what does the 100 octane file ask for is it still 17? reason being is that i capped it off with a diode at 17 psi and i started runnig the race file again.

also i took the tt to the drags and i was very dissapointed. I ran a best of 14.5 1/5 mile in my 180ttQ i tried to tune the giac k03 file with a big maf and 380cc injectors and it was just not performing. it was misfireing all over and just runnig like crap overall. I went back to the stock injectors and stock maf with a 4bar fpr and tuned her with lemmiwinks and she is ripping again. hoping for 13.5 this wednesday. I'll post results. Giac was making a file for us with the 180hp and a ko4-01 upgrade, but is puting it on backburner because there isnt enough interest and i'm a returnig customer with just an upgrade, money wise, so there isnt enough profit. kinda pissed about that.

also i got to drag with a brand new evo. he ran 13.1, my best reaction time is .559 , how can i get that lower. i just dont know what i'm doing wrong

hahah... you shurely did tell me. I acctually did the mod wit hthe intent of having my car flashed witht e new software 2 days after, but then garret decided to hold off on making me the software, although they have one out for the 1.8t golf. they made it for me last time, but like i said, no profit no software. I'll settle for it the way it is now, which is preety good. again thanks for all the previous advice. you were dead on. also i do encourage people to tune with vag com and lemminwinks if you mod after an ecu reflash. its amazing what a small percetage of fuel or timing change will do. but make sure you really understand the stuff.
