Adjusting door
Panel gaps
The panel gaps can be checked using setting gauge -3371-.
l
Dimension -A- = 4 mm+1mm
l
Dimension -B- = 4mm +1mm
l
Dimension -C- = 3.5...4.5mm
l
Dimension -D- = 5 mm±1.5mm
l
Dimension -E- = 3.5 mm+1mm
Adjusting door at striker plate
–
Slacken off bolts -2-.
–
Move striker plate -1- until door shell is flush with body contour.
–
Tighten bolts to 20Nm.
Note[/align]
The striker plate must only be adjusted towards the centre of the vehicle and not in height, as otherwise the lock could become damaged.

As in the pass. door moves up and down?
Could be from the ice you had in there. First thing I'd do is make sure the hinges are clean.
Be prepared for this...

I've found it more frustrating to be at the gas station, and not be able to fuel up!
Even with the ice removed, the bastage of a gas flap likes to freeze shut. A hairdryer or flathead screw driver work well to get it open.
