Default grrr issues with windows and tach

so im having fun withmy car.... first my passenger windows stops working you can hear it clicking but it doesnt roll up or down... my maf is going out as well so it keeps throwing codes... i was changing my oil today and i disconnect the battery to reset the ecu and get rid of the check light when i put the battery back on the code was gone but now my driver window doesnt go down when i open the door and the auto up and down is gone.......
and on the way out to the place where i changed the oil my tach just stopped working... everything else on it works fine but the tach. it kinda stutters at the 0 rpm mark but for the most part it doesnt do anything.... What do I need to do? do i need a new cluster and what about the windows?
Help!!! lol [sm=headbang.gif]

window fix:

With the window down, raise the window all the way, then click the switch 'up' and hold for at least one second.

Window should be reset.

if your maf is going out you can try running it with it unpluged. You wont get the codes but you will run a little rich. Also do a throttle body alighnment. To do it unplug your battery for 10min then reattach it, then go turn your car to the on position but not start it for another 10mins. Then start it and see if those two things help cure some of your problems.

i would still be in search of a new cluster though.

cool thnx guys.... the window thing worked great so thats one issue down and a few more to go .....for the throttle alignment, what does that do exactly?does it reset things or something? im definently going to do that tonight after work but just curious on exactly what it does. for the tach is it hard to replace? im not in the mood to take it to audi and spend about a grand but i dont wanna get in over my head either lol.... i saw a diy on replacing the needles and the part that operates it but im not sure if thatll fix it

your throttle body (tb) is run electronically. And since you disconnected the batterie and started it up it may not be where the ecu thinks it is. It is something that should be done a regular maintance or when you change somethings. If you have a vag cable you can do it electronically with a laptop but if not you have to do it like listed above.
