I was thinking about sanding with some superfine paper, but I was scared it wouldn't work with clear plastic.

It won't make it more hazy?

Also... Who let all these bugs out? I don't go over 30mph on my way to work, they still manage to get plastered on my bumper.

Oh, Bugs right....
YEa they're a pain.
I washed my car perfectly, i go pick up my girlfriend (5-mile drive) and they are all dead! -the bugs.
ON MY FRESHLY SHINY-IFIED BUMPER! at least 20 of them!

RWD, you gotta polish after the sanding. The sanding is only if they're pitted deep enough that a simple polishing isn't enough.

the 3m stuff is great two step process....cleaner then a polisher expensive though i paid 16 for both
