Default info on spacers

so my car has a 2" drop, but the back is not sticking out like I want it to because of the offset. i was looking at the ecstuning spacer kits, but I dont know what to get? Im pretty sure I need the 20mm for the rear, but should I go with the 10mm or the15mm?

depends on the offset of your current rim and width. use the offset calculator.

i usually go all around spacers (all around 20mm, not 15 front, 20 rear... i ono, thas jus me) and remember for the bolts, you take the OEM bolts (28mm) and add (+) the spacer size then you give or take (+/-) 2mm.

so 28mm oem bolts + 20mm spacers +/- 2mm = your good with 50mm bolts. yay

Well the offset of my rims are 38, they came off of the gti anniversary edition. They are the normal offset as our stock TT rims.

What width? I calculated it for a 7.5" rim and it came up with 29mm(30mm) front and 35mm rear.

Dunno if thats the right rim width though, so go ahead and try it yourself. http://www.2x.ca/TT/offset/

Well I just ordered 1 set of the ecstuning 20mm wheel spacers with bolts to try it out and see what I actually need, if the 20 mm are going to be good. 35mm seems a lot for wheel spacers and dangerous. Hopefully the 20mm wll be fine
