TT threw a timing belt at 90 on the highway and its been in the shop for four days... KILL ME!!!! still love audi enough to get the four rings tatooed on my hip though! [8D] it was worth the pain. anybody have any idea how long ill be without my car?

 

I would say at least 2-3 weeks.

 

Depends on how much of the top end got thrashed when it let go

 

Well mine has been in the shop since last monday, and they have had all the parts since friday.

I went there to work on saturday... (short uninterestingstory.)

While I was there I saw who they had working on my car.
If you have the same mechanic i'd say you should expect at least another week.



The car was up on a lift and the cat was on a jacked up flatbed that I was doing the brakes on.

DOnt cry about 4 days. I have been out 5months!!!

 

1 month for me and counting my clutch went out and im too poor to get a new stage 2+ one im in college...i almost have enought tho i got hit hard timing belt clutch and cluster all at once now just need to fix the clutch and its back on the road

 

Last I was w/o my car, it was 43 days and a $10,950 bill *(paid by the insurance company)
