MAP Sensor
After replacing my -A MAF with the one that is suppose to be for my car -D my car started running even worst. I'm running without it connected for now. My mechanic put in a green top to see if that was the problem but it wasn't. He suggested replacing the MAP sensor. I am planning on taking the front bumper off to do the headlights so I figured I'd save the 2 hours on labor and change the sensor myself. I didnt see a MAP sensor on ECS or Ebay. Short of calling the dealership has anyone ordered one of these online?
maps usually dont die (atleast from what i have seen). you may have a dirty one covered in oil, but im sure its not dead. Its entirely differnt than a maf. I would have codes pulled to see what else it could be first.

Not sure of the difference between an -A maf and a -D maf.

Good luck
you dont need to ever change your maf. They just changed the size of the hole for it form small to slightly bigger. Just because its bigger doesnt mean its better. THey both still read the same and to 5v (~22psi)
The mafs come down to differnt housings. The larger the housing the more g/s the car reads. Some tuners require it for bt sw. Some tuners tell you to keep your current maf element (with larger housing) and some tell you to use the element for the housing your using.
In my other thread i cleaned my map, it was covered in oil from a pool of oil sitting in my ic.
