2000's 180's have an APR button. - Mine doesn't work because I have wheel speed sensors out... but who needs those! - My computer doesn't EVER take over my car when I'm breaking or turning!

Thought about getting it fixed, but since I drive my car like I stole it, I figure its best to leave it off....

The 2000 models did not come with esp as far as I remember, what you see when you turn the key on on the instrument cluster is actually "epc" in yellow light. electric power control that controls your speed up 80km i think in case of slipping.

EPC reduces power in the event of some sort of failure that the car sees as threatening to the engine, its not speed control exactly, although you will be slowed down. Think of it as super limp mode.

As for the haldex issue, run the roll out test, but it sounds like you've done a pretty good job of varifying that its not hooking up.

You'll need to check the car for DTC's, I'd almost put money on you finding 'internal memory malfunction' or something along those lines, I can't remember exactly what the code is called. Far as I know in that case, is theres not really a repair for the controller, you'd need to replace it. I went thru the same thing, snagged a Haldex blue controller for $750. Easy install at least. That splits power more 50/50, and I wish I had a video camera last night when I was doing donuts in the parking lot. The car eventually gets into a fast spin pivoting around a point almost centered in the car. Wild.
