Default Need a lil bit of help 02 sensor

Hey guys,

I need to replace the 02 sensor closest to my engine, I forget what the bay is called but I know the sensors themselves are the same.

Has anyone replaced them themselves? - Is there a good place online I can get one for cheap? - The dealership says it would be $450 to fix.... and I dont want to put $450 into this...if I dont have to.... something tells me the sensor is like $60 bucks somewhere... anyone know?

Thanks!

autozone for the universal was $80 and the one with the connector is $120. The universal comes with a quick connect if you cant solder, but i took the time to solder mine. Its not that hard to replace if you can get under your car on jackstand. Just get some luquid wrench or PB Blaster and o2 socket and you shouldnt have any problems getting it out if you get the penetrating lube about an hour plus time to loosen the sensor. Then just disconnect the harness under the cover and swap the connector and then reinstall. Should take a couple hours counting the time to loosen the sensor.

Could my 02 sensor in any way slow my car done? - I know it is effecting my MAF sensor. - If I fix this do you think I could see more power? - My car does seem a bit slower. Or is that just in my head?

If your o2 sensor is off, exspecially the primary (the first one),can give the car false info and mess up the a/f causing richness which inturn would cause the carto loose power.

It feels like i've lost more than that. - I had the car checked out at Audi.

-It needs

abs wheel speed sensor
o2 sensor

- Thats all that pulls up as issues. - Could I be leaking boost? - Would there scan tools pick that up? if that was an issue?
