Default now the proper name of this

i noticed a small oil patch on floor of garage,took if to corner garage,was told it was(front output seal on drive shaft to rear)would anybody know the proper name or is it just a drive shaft seal.bad spelling know the proper name of this part

huh? front seal to rear?

you talking about a seal on the output from the bevel box aka, angled drive?

Also, drive shaft to rear... I think the name you're looking for is propeller shaft, aka, prop shaft. Just for clarification purposes.

First guess would be 'Radial Shaft Seal'. You're dealing with a lot of seals in a tight space, bunch of seals and o-rings there. Get some GOOD pics to try to narrow things down a bit if you want to do the work yourself (probably NOT something the average amateur mechanic should screw with), take it somewhere qualified and have it fixed, or live with it if its not bad.
