You can't just buy an Ebay key fob. You need to buy a new one from the dealer and it has to be programed to your car. They need to code it to the immobilizer for your car. The fobs new are about $150.00 Not a cheap way out, but that's one of the costs of owning an Audi/VW if you make the mistake of washing your remote key. If you don't want to bother you can just use the key to lock/unlock the car.

Thats a normal TT Key Fob -- see my Ebay posts to purchase new.
Then you can buy the key fob "mod" from ttstuff to make it look like yours.

yea and now my winshield shattered out of no where rrrrr its got two 3in cracks in it o well my insurance fixes that free no deductable on glass luck i got that aha

Depends on the year on if you have the imobilizer on it or not. My 2000 S4 has the Imob. but it wasn't enabled which made getting a new key really easy. Saving $400 is worth the research.
