Default Picking the right turbo

Ok so im going with 440 file and injectors for now till i build my engine. I decided to go semi small for now just so i wont blow the engine. My question is will this turbo bolt on to stock manifold?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GT28R...spagenameZWDVW

If not could someone point me in the direction of a good manifold that it would be compliant with?

I thought you already had a turbo from your "BT friday" thread?

Anyway, you do NOT want to go with an eBay turbo. That is NOT a real GT28, it's a Chinese knockoff; a real GT28 is twice the price of that. Those turbos sometimes last, but only if you lay off the PSI (read: lay off the power). Anything more than 10 PSI or so tends to start destroying them.

Anyway, you're looking for power without swapping internals? Try a T3 60 trim it's pretty much the equivalent of a GT28 and I picked up one (props to cincy for all the advice on it). You can get authentic Garrett ones (read: they'll run 25+ PSI and not start blowing up) for roughly the same as what that turbo costs, or brand new for $700 off ATP.

They'll make 300whp easy and spool just past 3000RPM. Dyno on stock internals, 93 octane, 25 psi...mind you watermeth can kick this a lot higher:

The only thing that fits stock is the ATP eliminator, and that's junk, much like the stock manifold. I'm not sure what cheap manifolds there are with T25 flanges, but I know ATP makes a cast (doesn't crack like welded) mani with a T3 flange for just under $400 if I remember. I can't seem to get on their site right now else I'd look.

Yeah, i would stay away from something that is not a garrett, borg warner or maybe even turbonetics. The t3 60 trim, gt28rs, or t3s60 (from turbonetics and is just a hairmore potentialthan a t3 60trim) would be the biggest turbos you can get that will spool fast and you can run to their peaks without breaking stuff.

That looks like Dan's dyno (gt-er).

my friend is parting his turbo del sol and has a brand new t3/t4 62trim ...would that be an okay turbo to go with (id get it for next to nothing)? cost aside, when im totally done with the car i wanna be near 300ish but really shooting for 25+ i have a 180 and i know i need different injectors and exhaust manifold but would that be a good turbo to start with? what else would i need?

exhaust manifold
injectors
chipping for new setup

what else am i missing? do i need internal work for a 180 to do that? i just want a really fun street car that can make decent power

i have seen a T3 Super 70 Trim ...

here is the link http://cgi.ebay.ca/T3-Super-T-70-Tur...QQcmdZViewItem

and yes i know this is straing from china sold out of USA. but im wondering here "hypothetically" if this a true option offered by the REAL makers of the turbo. what would it compare to a t3s60trim? assuming that the AR is the same... negate the .84 ar on this one i was thinking around 0.48 to 0.63

Stock internals... Im looking to push around 300hp.As of right now I would like to stay in that ball park till I get around to and have the money to do internals. Im looking for a low RPM spool which would have to be a ball bearing turbo.. I already have my IC 38m tial wastegate and blowoff if I decide to change from my forge diverter. The only thing thats going to cost me an arm and a leg is the software. You can always find a used turbo for a good price. Thats why I was thinking of going megasquirt instead of SW because its cheaper and has alot more control then the normal one would.
