i have seen a T3 Super 70 Trim ...

here is the link http://cgi.ebay.ca/T3-Super-T-70-Tur...QQcmdZViewItem

and yes i know this is straing from china sold out of USA. but im wondering here "hypothetically" if this a true option offered by the REAL makers of the turbo. what would it compare to a t3s60trim? assuming that the AR is the same... negate the .84 ar on this one i was thinking around 0.48 to 0.63
I would only buy a Garrett turbo personally, but you can also go with borg warner and turbonetics as something differnt. ANything else i wouldnt even talk about putting on my car. Turbonetics have been hit and miss sometimes. You can get great turbos from them like a t3s60 which is nicer than a t3 60trim orjust a t3t4 turbo, but i rather go with garrett for one of those.

you just need a 440cc file written for a gt28rs. People have also had great success with the Unitronic 630cc file with the t3 60 also. So Revo 440cc file or Uni 630cc file <= what i would choose

Stock internals... Im looking to push around 300hp.As of right now I would like to stay in that ball park till I get around to and have the money to do internals. Im looking for a low RPM spool which would have to be a ball bearing turbo.. I already have my IC 38m tial wastegate and blowoff if I decide to change from my forge diverter. The only thing thats going to cost me an arm and a leg is the software. You can always find a used turbo for a good price. Thats why I was thinking of going megasquirt instead of SW because its cheaper and has alot more control then the normal one would.
for 300whp and fast spool you need a t3 60trim, t3s60 (turbonetics) or gt28rs. All have fast spool where they should hit 20+ psi around 3300rpms. The t3 60trim is not dbb and i think the t3s60 might be dbb and the gt28rs is of course. When the turbo is this small, they dont really need to be dbb.

All of those will make 290-320whp depending on tuning and more with w/m all on stock internals and with great spool. I think they all also come with an internal wastegate unless you get a t3 flanged gt28rs and again, possibly the t3s60.

Cost
t3 60trim = internally gated $700
t3s60 = internally gated? = $900
gt28rs = internal or externally gated $1100

Whatever you get, go with a T3 flanged and if you get one that is internally gated you can just block off the external wastegate flange until you go with something that needs it.

Also if you didnt mind a little more lag, say just after 4k, you can go with a t3t4 50trim .48 and make 350whp and still be safe on the stock internals. Then when built, the turbo can do 30+psi and make close 400whp with a .63 housing. And also when built, you can then swap to a dbb chra and get much faster spool. 50 trims cost ~$625 and you have a external gate and the dbb chara is like $700 that you can swap in later and have a 100% fresh turbo with faster spool.

Didnt seem smart at all. Considering I still need a daily driver. I have my civic still but that a BT setup to. I would atleast need 1 car to be a daily driver. So as of right now i dont think it would be a very smart investment. And my Acura RL is the girls well mine but she is using it for the time being because she wrecked her car.

Yeah... the supra def. wasn't a daily driver. You could always pick up a geo metro for a DD and take out the supra when someone picks on your 3 cylinders of fury...

Rofl haha yah I was thinking that but not a metro...To tell the truth I was looking at a MG midget rofl a guy i know was going to sell it to me for like 3grand. I decided to say no and just get a little bigger turbo for the audi and still have it be able to be streetable.
