So what if your in the market for 400 whp?
400 can be done with a gt3071 with some work and easier with a gt3076r. The spool is almost identical but some claim the respool is faster on the 3071r.

Well seeing as how people are getting 300-320 whp out of a BT swap....keeping the internals out of the picture.... i would think a new Intake, cams, and 28-30 psi with race gas would put you pretty close
I would rather give up 200-300rpms in spool, maybe spend $50-150 on a bigger turbo than do all that, not to mention on lower boost levels and pump. Cams will run you $600+ (more if someone installs them for you) and needs a tune for. Intake manifolds are $600-1200 and are simple installs, but again, starting with a slightly larger turbo is much cheaper.

Those would be more of a secondary or extra mods that will help maximaze the performace, but i would make the tiny sacrifices i listed above then go through all of that.

Tuning? Unitronics? I would go with apr's turbo kit, I just don't like the hidden details abou the products nor the price.

Unitronic or Tapp would be perfect with some 630cc injectors. What are you talking about hidden details and price?

I was actually reffering to the 3071r .... I figured you would still need cams, intake ect to get 400whp. Guess they make more power thenI thought! So with cams,intake,30psi on a 3071-76 450+ whp???!!

Hetzen made 400fwhp on his gti with stock manifold and race gas. Should be able to get there with the same and probably a intake manifold for a awd car (but look like **** since haldex cars suck on the dyno due to power shifting). I would do intake man over cams. You can make more power with the intake man and you can install them yourself with ease and no tuning required.

450+awhp should be easy on a 3076 with above and a stand alone ems.

Wow and to think my older 98 Camaro with 6 psi is only pushing 425 whp out of a 5.7l v8 ....i should be ashamed lol
