I got a 2002 Audi tt Quattro with about 105,000 miles 3rd owner. Previous owners babied this car in amazing condition. My first stick shift car so i stupidly listened to a friend and dumped the clutch too much in the high gears and rode the clutch too hard in first and reverse. ( my own fault) Anyway If its not blown its on its way out and instead of replacing it Oem i would rather upgrade it.

Does anyone know the best brand stage 1 clutch , as well as the best flywheel ?
Or the best clutch kit to look into

Getting an audi upgraded clutch im guessing its audi version of a stage 1 my mechanic said its the best for my money till i learn to shift better ill let you know how it works

 

First day with the new clutch it shifts 100 times better and smoother, gained its pep back it was defiantly worth the money.

 

im curious - what did u end up paying for the clutch job? I have the parts and i cant get any reasonable quotes for a shop to replace mine.

 

I paid 1500 for parts and labor. I got a good deal because it was a friend of my fathers so he cut me a deal. the labor cost is what kills it and makes it so expensive
