Default Power window issues

My driver side window got stuck in the down position and I bought a new switch which hasn't fixed it. They say the motors don't go out very often and it didn't give any indication that it was going out. Is there anything else I should be looking for?

Thanks,

Mark

Do you hear a click coming from within the door when you hit the switch?

It makes a clicking sound when I click it down but not when I click it up.

welcome to the club. my drivers side died around xmas and still haven't gotten around to replacing it. $300.00 - $250.00 depending on where you buy it. I'm doing my timing belt this weekend and within the next few weeks I'll be replacing the window motor.

Mine did the same thing about a month ago. I found a salvage on ebay for $100, 15 minute fix. Good luck finding one.
