It fired all back up radio started again all gauges went back to normal. When I got home i shut it off and the temp and petrol gauge started twitching up an down. Has anyone ever had this problem or does anyone know what causes this. Thank you for your help.
We have the same problem with my car. Good thing that you open up that situation. Hope that there someone knows about it and we can help us. I read some auto topics like Programming my car to get some idea about car repairs and car care.

If you decide to disconnect the battery terminals and reconnect them, please be sure to have your radio code first.
When the battery is completly disconnected the radio goes into SAFE mode, and requires the code to unlock it.
It's a security thing...
You can find the radio code in the radio manual that should have been provided with the car.
I haven't heard of a faulty gauge cluster causing this type of problem, but anything is possible!
