does anyone know how to program the key for the 2001 audi tt's? the dealer wants 50$

 

If you are just programing the keyless entry the procedure is in the manual, I think it is 1. start with doors locked 2. press lock or unlock on the remote 3. unlock the drivers door within 30 seconds of pressing the button on the remote with a master key (one of the switchblades, not the valet or plastic key) HTH

 

If you mean program the key for the ignition/security system, then you're stuck with a dealer visit. They pull codes and program. $50 sounds about what it cost me.
