Default Question

i been having problems with my 2001 audi tt quattro. i was wondering if anyone could please help me out. my car eventually dies while driving. ive change the alternator twice and have changed the battery 4 times. the alternator is putting out 14volts and have tested it numerous times. when i disconnect the positive terminal from the battery the car dies. the car will only run off the battery dieing every couple days. i have done a couple continuity test, checking the battery's ground, and between the output terminal of the alternator and the battery's positive terminal and all show up good. i am lost at what to do next and would greatly appreciate some advise

no the esp light does not come on. i havent done anything to the car. i bought it about 6months ago and it worked fine for 2 months then it started having problems for the first time and i changed the alternator and worked fine for about 4months untill this past thanksgiving i took a trip and thats were it started giving me problems so i figured it was a bad refurb alternator so i replaced it again jus to find out the car would die later that day. right after i installed the altenator i took it to the auto store to get it tested. they said it was working fine.

hmm.. that has to be annoying. Check that your terminals are extra clean and maybe check the cables. I would imagine that's probably the first thing you did tho..

yeah its pretty annoying lol. i checked all the terminals and wiring. when i follow the fat power cable coming off the alternator spitting out 14 volts, i trace it to some kind of distribution block on top of my starter and then after w.e this distribution block is it goes to the battery. i think my problem is in this spot but i dont know what this part is or what it does. does any1 know what this part is called? or maybe has a website were i can access some wiring diagrams?
