question about BOV/diverter valve?

i recently got the forge bov/diverter valve and got it installed from this place where i bought it they installed it the wrong way could this have damaged anything or was it ok the way it was?

no it really honestly doesnt matter which way its mounted. Valve works the same both ways

i like it better now that i switched it to the way it supposed to be. i think it sounds pretty good and its not to much that you would get annoyed with it.

how far away from the car can you be so you can still hear it. like will only the car next to you hear it or will people 3 cars behind you still hear it?
