Question about changing brake pads
I am changing my front brake pads on my TT and it looks like I need some sort of hex tool to loosten the caliper guide bolts. Does anyone know what size hex tool this is? Thanks!

RE: Question about changing brake pads
I changed my brake pads..the drivers side took me about an hour because it was the first time I had done it on this car, and it took me a while to get the pad sensor unhooked, as it was very stubborn. I also took off the entire caliper support, which I did not need to do.
But Damn! I did the passenger side next, I only took off the caliper (left the support) and it only took me about 10 minutes for the entire job. Talk about easy!

No I did nothing with the rotors. The only reason I put these new brake pads on was because I was sick of the dust of the OEM pads. I would clean my wheels and they would be dirty again the next day it was bad. The OEM padswere only about 1/2 used. These new padsare just temporary until I upgrade to a big brake kit in a couple months. I did inspect my rotors and they had no grooves, etc and were in excellent condition.
