Questions about iPod integration...

I have this one, it is really nice. it connects where the cd changer does (changer loses functionality). It's easy to hide away under the rear seat.
Digital quality is preserved, as it connects to the dock connector, it also charges the ipod.
What i really like about it is that you can still use the ipod to control your music, but you can also skip trough songs as if they were tracks on a cd trough the headunit.

I haven't seen any that can display the track information on the head unit yet. I have the DICE one, it works very well, but again, no song info.
I suggest when you do your install, remove the console tray and drill a hole through the rear of it, running your wire through it, so you can hide the wire and ipod in the tray when closed (but hey you probably already knew that!)

I ended up getting the DICE unit and I love it. Like mentioned above, it doesn't display song information on the stereo or the MMI display, but I am using an iPod Touch which displays the songs title, artist, album, and album art. And I would say that it would have only taken about an hour or so to install, but my stereo was stuck and would not come out. I ended up removing the entire lower dash to install it, but it was worth it!
