20's would be to big on the car. I have a 225hp quattro and I just got my wheels. I will be running some FK 19x8.5 fronts and 19x10 rears. These FK wheels look like the BBS CH's with a staggered look. I am just waiting to get them back from my powder coater guy...Eddie

the rolling radius needs to be the same for all four wheels otherwise you would probably burn out the haldexdifferential really quick. Keep in mind that the car is front wheel drive most of the time so if anything you need the larger tires on the front :-)

im actualy refering to the wheel width. so, if i want wider in the back can i buy wider wheels? or do i need to go the chump route and just get spacers? sorry if that offends anyone, but i want my end result to be low and wide. I love the way a porsche looks with wide low pros on the back.

Sure, you could do either. As long as the tires are the same size in height its fine.

I believe .clipse is running staggered wheels like you said. As long as the rolling radius is the same you shouldn't have any problems. Just make sure that you don't have clearance issues on the back with the suspension. I think 9.5 is the absolute most you can go with spacers and still being flush with the fender, but you also have to take in account the offset of the wheels.
