You can do whatever you want, I was the dumba** who went and spent 150bucks for a cool looking boost controller that does the same thing as a 22 dollar one. YAY go me!!!
Do they really rubb each others ***** on Audiworld???

to clear the air most of you guys are right. the manual boost controller is better than the n75r valve. but the ebc does have some qualities that makes it better than both. i do know this though, with no other tuning or work present in a car the mbc will create a problem where its mildly difficult to use part throttle. the n75 wont have this problem. the ebc has its own share of problems i.e the most popular the avc-r requires a costly install to monitor all funtions and inexperienced users can do engine damage trying to tune all the settings. conclusion the mbc is probably the best option for most of us but some the n75r can be a great option.
also im kinda disgusted guys, this was a good question in my opinion with good answers. i thought thats why we had these forums to ask and help out. dont flame people for asking questions or giving there experience, we all have different levels of experience and mechanical ability. also flaming people is a easy way to loose new users, and it makes people scared to ask questions and give answers.

Andrei was never flamed. The first several post gave our opinions and and then jeff01 got "informed".
Also, a ebc is the best for any turbo car, thats a given. Like Ray said, it takes WAY longer to install and learn to use. A mbc is a simple install and easy to set but is less consistant as a ebc. The n75 is a nonadjustable ebc that just bleeds off a little extra psi (usually about 3psi) but does cause problems with some chips, where as a mbc can be used with any chip.
All i can say is if you have a stock turbo (ko3 or 4), you HAVE to have a bleed/gated valve or you will hate life/ have to run 47 Tees and 7' of vaccum line to run the "overboost" setup with a ball and spring mbc.
Erin, you having boost machine regret? Btw i stillbelieve they do that on AW
