Did anyone ever get this. The music cut-out then radio & display both say "diagnose." Now cd's hardly play. Always errors 2 & 3.

Yea I'm figuring this out. Question for everyone using the 6 cd changer. When do you get errors, with store bought cd's or burnt?

 

My CD + Radio is not working toooo

CD always said "Error" on every CD I have.

My radio gets only one radio station, which I hate that county radio station.

So I don't listen anything....lol

 

I use burnt cd's and they play fine. I have never gotten the error in my tt though. I have noticed in other cars that usually only high quality burnt cds with long gaps between tracks work. Try to clean the lens with one of those cd cleaner things.

 

yea same thing happened to me twice but i had my liquidtt plugged in and i just reset it and radio came back on and then i checked for codes and it threw me a 18010. i made a post and asked about it and cincy said the battery was disconnected at some point so i checked it later and the positive a little loose so i tightened it back up and hasnt happened since. but i dont know if thats what would cause it to say diagnose on the radio and display but it hasnt came back so i guess it was the battery cable being loose

 

Never had it display "diagnose". However depending on the cars mood either even or odd numbered slots won't play a cd.

Have you checked the HVAC for codes?
I'll have my vag-com at show n go.
