Recently chipped TT will not activate cruise in 6th gear.
I am new to the forum and fairly new to Audi. (Also, I searched and searched to make sure this question hasn't been answered.)
I recently purchased a very clean Audi TT quattro Roadster, AMU engine with a 6 speed manual transmission. I only had 50,000 miles on it, but since it was getting old I decided to get the timing belt service (water pump, tensioner, etc.), service the haldex, and get the Stage 1 United Motor Sports tune.
Ever since the tune was complete the cruise control will not activate in 6th gear. I can use cruise in all other gears, but once I shift to 6th it will not activate. The break lights activate, and I have no open DTC codes.
I have VCDS-Lite with the license, and I do not have any active codes in the engine or AWD. I checked the softcoding on the engine and it shows a 6 speed transmission. I also checked the cruise control and it is active and all components are functioning (break light switch, clutch switch, all buttons on the stalk, etc.).
I spoke with the shop that did the work and the tune and he doesn't think it's related to the ECU flashing. So I am hoping someone on here has an idea on how I can go about diagnosing this. Thoughts?
