Yea... post-turbo charge air is ridiculously hotter than ambient air temps. I don't know the exact temps... but I would guess that after running the car hard... those temps are probably approaching 200*F or hotter. I know it's hot enough to boil water sometimes so it's at least 212*F at times. Of course it'll definitely work better in the winter when airflow on the FMIC are cold but the air won't need to be cooled quite as much then either.
